In December 2015, I went to the middle part of Finland to celebrate the new year in the snow (and cold).
Back then, I didn’t have a DSLR, yet that didn’t stop me of taking pictures during the almost permanent ‘golden hour’ over the course of the day. All these photos were taken with a tripod and a weather and cold resistant camera, with rather crappy image quality.
Because these photos were all taken using a tripod, long exposure and during golden hour periods, the colors really pop out and almost no post-processing was necessary. Which was hard to do anyway, since the photos were already compressed and saved to JPEG in-camera.
